Orljava workers museumized their broken relationship with Olymp
Objavljeno: 11.07.2022Women garment workers from Croatian factory Orljava are owed more than 450,000 euros in severance pay after their exclusive buyer, German brand Olymp, started cutting their orders during Covid, which resulted in 100 layoffs. In July 2021, the remaining 172 were layed off. Workers, supported by trade unions and organizations that are a part of Clean Clothes Campaign from around the world, on Tuesday, July 5, handed over several mementos from the closed factory, as a symbol of their violated labor rights and the broken relationship with Olymp.
